As we reported earlier, public transport across Brisbane will stop running from tonight.

But we have just been told that buses and trams will also stop across the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Toowoomba.

All public transport services across 11 council areas have been cancelled “until further notice”.

All buses, including school buses, have been cancelled from Thursday in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Ipswich, Kilcoy, Lockyer Valley, Logan, Moreton Bay, Noosa, Redlands, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba.

Services are expected to run until the last service tonight, but there may be more cancellations as the weather changes.
