Offenders wanted after ‘highly offensive’ graffiti spotted in Oxfordshire town

Numerous pieces of graffiti were noticed by residents of Eynsham, near Witney in the last few days.
The offensive painting has been spotted in Wastie Lane and Abbey Fishponds.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the criminal damage offence and have asked anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police for West Oxfordshire said: “We are appealing for witnesses to criminal damage which has occurred in Wastie Lane and Abbey Fishponds, Eynsham.

“Residents have noticed in the last few days that there are numerous pieces of graffiti which could be deemed as highly offensive in these areas.
“The correct agencies will be informed to arrange the removal of the graffiti.”
