WHOA: Rachel Maddow Rakes MSNBC on Air for Getting Rid of Joy Reid, Program Changes

You gotta love where the left is at this point.

The Democrats are losing their minds over President Donald Trump and all he’s doing to change things after the disaster that Joe Biden left.

Meanwhile the liberal media doesn’t know which way is up when it comes to their cratering ratings. Both CNN and MSNBC have been firing personnel and changing up programming.

We reported previously on some of the MSNBC changes, including Joy Reid being given her walking papers and other anchors/hosts losing their shows. Reid just offered up her final monologue and it was as bad as you might expect.

NEW: Report That Three More MSNBC Anchors Just Had Shows Axed

But then Rachel Maddow did her show, and she dealt with the changes. It really heated up when she got to Joy Reid. Rachel said she was 51 years old and had had many jobs. But in all that time, there was no one for whom she had more respect than Joy. That’s pretty bad if Reid is the most respected person she knows. Then she began to rake MSNBC for the move.

“I have learned so much from her,” Maddow claimed.

I have so much more to learn from her. I do not want her to lose her as a colleague here at MSNBC. personally I think it is a bad mistake to let her walk out the door. It is not my call and I understand that. But that’s what I think.

I will tell you it’s also unnerving to see that on a network where we have two — count ’em — two non-white hosts in prime time, both of our non-white hosts in prime time are losing their shows — as is Katie Phang, on the weekend. And that feels worse than bad. No matter who replaces them.

That feels indefensible. And I do not defend it.

Whoa, did she just accuse her own network of being racist?

She then tried to keep the viewers, saying whoever was in the chairs would be good.

Producers are being put through the wringer and are facing being laid off, she whined. She said that had never happened at this scale before. “Presumably because it’s not the right way to treat people, and it’s inefficient and unnecessary and it kind of drops the bottom out of whether people think this is a good place to work.”

She claimed it was already difficult because “press and freedom of the press was under attack.”

She said she knows “no job is forever” — perhaps thinking she might be next to fall after what she just did.

Maddow said she thought the way you get to succeed and reach more people was by “treating people well.”

“Finding good people, good colleagues, doing good work with them, and then having their back. That we could do a lot better on. A lot better.”

Good people? I wouldn’t include Joy Reid.

How long is Maddow going to last after this diatribe? We shall have to see. She may think that she’s immune because she’s one of the loudest extreme leftist voices they have left. But when you call out your bosses like that, they’re likely not going to be happy.

Left eats left? Couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch.

Major shakeups are occurring across mainstream media networks as radical, left-wing talking heads are being shown the door. The leftist media are losing the ideological battle for America in real time.
